Why I have 256 emails in my inbox

Karoline spent last Friday night in the ER.  Since then, life has been a busy hum of nebulizers, doctors' appointments, and slings.  Blog entries were mostly drafted before the baby was born but answers to emails?  I can't pre-write those! Please bear with me...
