This is the list I've been sharing in Google Docs with my local co-op friends. It's very tailored to the needs of my children, but perhaps you'll find it useful. For the most part, we'll read a narrate. Children too young to type their own narrations will dictate to me. I imagine that our lesson books will be embellished with medieval style illuminations. Fonts and spacing tend to get messed up when I transfer from Google Docs. If I try to fix it, you will never read it here at Typepad, so please excuse the messups:-).

For Christian (high school). Christian brings a huge amount of knowledge to this time period, since it's been an interest of his for years, but he's not a strong reader. The books on his list are books from Stephen's list that he hasn't previously read. Anything that doesn't appear on his list but does appear on Stephen's, Christian has read. This list is formidable for him but I think his interest will carry him over the bumps.
