needle & thREAD

This shall be brief. You're looking at the sum total of this week's needlework. I packed some pretty cross stitch, but I haven't touched it. I don't know what I was thinking when I thought I'd be passing the time with a needle and thread.

Reading? All my reading has been from the  The Complete Tales of Beatrix Potter and  the Random House Book of Humor for Children. Karoline is so into Peter Rabbit right now that I think it's time for another trip down the rabbit trail. She was only 8 months old or so the last time.

For now, though, it's time to tuck my dancers into bed and sleep fast before another day at the beach (or in the convention center that has lovely views of the beach, as it were).

What are you sewing and reading this week? I am eager to hear!

Or are you embroidering? Pulling a needle with thread through lovely fabric to make life more beautiful somehow? Would you share with us just a single photo (or more) and a brief description of what you're up to? Will you tell us about what you're reading, also? Would you talk sewing and books with us? I'd love that so much.
