She played with fabric. I played with my camera. Together, we waited.
I can't help but sit back in awed wonder.
For all of time, we've done this--women gathering.
Sharing stories.
Passing time.
Waiting.
Hoping.
Praying.
And yet with each birth,
it must feel new.
